• Plan and execute events with an eye toward creating an exceptional guest experience

• Contract and manage vendors as necessary (catering, rentals, design, talent/entertainment, décor, transportation, audio/visual)

• Coordinate all vendors on the day of the event and management from load-in to load-out of the event

• Oversee event execution, guest arrivals, and departures

• Manage all aspects of catering, BEOs, decor, and custom event design elements

• Develop menus and negotiate costs for all functions with venue and decorators

Alexandra is a corporate event professional with ten years of experience bringing together various groups for highly-curated and seamlessly executed events. Alex spent over eight years at Silicon Valley Bank, where she partnered with VC and startup-focused teams to produce conferences, summits, networking events, panels, hospitality events, virtual events, wine-centric events, and beyond to help foster connections throughout the innovation economy. She is thrilled to partner with Strut’s clients to continue creating impactful experiences that build the relationships fueling the core of the tech ecosystem. Alex holds a BA in Communications for Loyola Marymount University.

Netanya is an event specialist with over two and a half decades of experience in successfully executing a wide range of events, from trade shows, conferences, and team-building sessions to high-profile client engagements, marketing promotions, and educational programming. In addition to supporting Strut's clients, she also leads events for Let's Talk Ops, a VC operator community of 200+ members, producing over 60 virtual learning and in-person events a year across the U.S., as well as their annual multi-day Summit. Before joining Strut, Netanya spent over a decade driving her own events company. She also held roles as a Private Bank Client Center Manager for JP Morgan Chase and the Director of Operations for Caskey Lees, Inc., a trade show management company producing internationally acclaimed high-end vetted antiques and fine arts shows across the U.S. She holds a bachelor's degree in communications and media studies from the University of Miami.
